The tenth Song of “Hum” in Cheonan Dance Festival is held in the whole are of Cheonan Samgeori park from Oct. 2 to Oct. 7. With the slogan of ‘Let's Dance in Cheonan! and We Are the One with the Dance’, dancers from all over the world participate in to enjoy dance festival.

In specific, the number of participating team is increased to 25 teams from 24 countries this year compared with last year, 21 teams from 20 countries to attract more foreign tourists and enhance the brand value of this festival while loved by a variety of age groups. Mingled with tourists and participants, street parade is held two time at night to catch more tourists with diverse age and social background.
The festival heralds its fascinating beginning from its eve ceremony at 7 pm Oct. 2, followed by opening ceremony on a main stage of Samgeori park on the next day. Dance party, a highlight of the festival, is subdivided for students, adults, and song of “Hum” to attract more participation. Moreover, team of foreign participants is able to select its competitive section according to their circumstance.

One of the features of this year is that more university students can participate through newly added section such as inviting university clubs and catching-up K POP. Everyone can learn dancing in Participating Corner and university students and adults can join Noisy Dance Party. Also, garden party is provided for foreigners. As an additional event, World Culture Exhibition and Contest for Silvers are held.
Folk Song of “Hum” in Cheonan World Dance Festival has been established as a unique dance festival in Korea as many as 1,282,000 people enjoyed the festival last year. Cheonan-si has an ambitious plan to grow it as an internal festival, advertising and recruiting 40 organizations from Asia, Europe, America, Africa, and Oceania this year and increasing the number up to 60 in 2014.
