Chungcheongnam-do announced on the 25th that 4 institutions within the province received excellent ratings in the 'Evaluation of In-Home Childcare Service Providers' conducted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.

This evaluation was carried out by the Ministry, classifying 227 institutions nationwide into three categories: urban, semi-urban, and rural. 67 institutions were selected as excellent (A-grade) institutions.

Among the 15 institutions in the province, Gongju-si and Dangjin-si were selected as excellent institutions in the semi-urban category, and Buyeo-gun and Cheongyang-gun in the rural category.

In particular, Gongju-si achieved an excellent rating for three consecutive years, and the remaining three cities and counties achieved the honor of being selected as excellent institutions for two consecutive years.

In addition, Gongju-si and Buyeo-gun were included in the top 15% nationwide in their respective categories and will receive institutional awards at the 'In-Home Childcare Support Project Communication Day' event hosted by the Ministry in December.

A provincial official said, "The evaluation we received this time is thanks to the dedicated staff and childcare providers who worked hard in the field." They added, "We will strive to create an environment where parents can confidently entrust their children to our care at any time, fostering a balance between work and family life, making it easier to raise children."

Meanwhile, the In-Home Childcare Support service is aimed at children aged 3 months to 12 years old in households where there is a childcare gap due to parents working or other circumstances. Childcare providers visit these homes to provide care.

To apply for the support service, you can either visit your local community service center or apply online through the Bokjiro website (www.bokjiro.go.kr).
